Whether in her duo, combo or big band, Jill's singing is always a sure fire crowd pleaser. She has gained musical fame through jazz singing engagements with various musical groups. Most notably, since 1998, when she teamed up with (and eventually married!) world-renowned Wisconsin jazz guitarist, Jack Grassel www.jackgrassel.com. You can enjoy Jill and Jack every Sunday for Jazz menu-brunch at The Carleton Grange Pub in St. Francis, WI from 11:30am to 1:30pm, with no cover charge. And, you can enjoy them every Friday night at Tommasino's Italia in West Allis from 8:30 to 11:30pm for Cabaret entertainment, along with delicious late night food and drink specials. Vocal studies include the Jazz Summit Voice Major session at the National Guitar Workshop in Connecticut and at the Lakeshore Conservatory of Music in Racine, WI. With past performances too numerous to mention, one of her career highlights was a 1989, four week, cultural exchange, musical theatre tour to Tbilisi, Georgia, (formerly in U.S.S.R.) and Russia. This is the land of origin for the legend of Jason & the Golden Fleece. (Ask her to tell the true story!) Excursions included Belgrade, Moscow, and remote, sparsely populated areas no foreigner had been allowed to see in decades. Jill's joyous experiences in those exotic places with excellent musicians and actors, perfectly exemplify that which is the most common denominator of all human beings - the universal language of music and art.
